1985 Hemphill Von Erich Family WCCW Game Kerry Von Erich Wrestler Card Texas

This isn't a trading card — it's a wrestler card from The Official Von Erich Family World Class Championship Wrestling Game, released by Hemphill in 1985.

The game let players take the role of one of eight WCCW stars: Kevin, Kerry, or Mike Von Erich, plus Iceman King Parsons, One Man Gang, Chris Adams, and Gino Hernandez. Each wrestler card carried the stats used in play. Kerry's rates him Speed 5, Experience 6, Strength 2, tagged "Good Guy," with two Specialty Actions — The Iron Claw and The Discus Punch. His bio lists Denton County, Texas, 261 pounds at 6'3", and interests in water skiing, scuba diving, hunting, and fishing.

Kerry Von Erich, "The Modern Day Warrior," was a one-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion and four-time WCWA World Heavyweight Champion, later known in the WWF as the Texas Tornado. World Class ran out of the Sportatorium in Dallas and drew enormous crowds across Texas through the 1980s. Interest in the family and the promotion has grown considerably since The Iron Claw brought their story to a wider audience.
